HUFS received the Minister of Gender Equality and Family Award at the 2018 International Youth Leader Exchange Support Program Reporting Session hosted by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family (MOGEF) and the Korea Youth Work Agency (KYWA) on November 30, 2018.
Among the program participants at the Reporting Session, students Park Sang-hee (English Linguistics) and Sang Yeom (Korean Language and Literature) received the MOGEF Minister Award and students Kwon Hyun-seon (Philosophy) and Lee Wol-myung (Korean Translation as a Foreign Language major) received the KYWA Chairman Award.
Also, the HUFS program - International Youth Leaders Who Empathize and Co-exist - was recognized as an outstanding program and received the MOGEF Minister Award, and representatives of the program were given an opportunity to make a presentation on it.
The event was organized by the HUFS International Student Service Team and was joined by Korean and international students from 19 countries enrolled at HUFS. The participants visited various regions, including Gangneung, Sokcho, and Yongin, from June through October 2018 and had opportunities to share friendship and develop leadership skills.
