HUFS students in Arabic studies won the first and second places at the 7th National Arabic Speech Contest for College Students held by the Saudi Arabia Cultural Mission (SACM) at Aekyung Hall of the HUFS Seoul Campus on November 27, 2018. Held jointly by the SACM and S-Oil, the annual contest was attended by 16 Arabic studies students from six universities and the Korea Defense Language Institute. HUFS student Park Seok-han won the first prize by expressing his opinion on the four seasons in Korea with fluent pronunciation and witty details. Kim Seong-jin, another HUFS student, won the second prize by sharing his personal story of how he began studying Arabic and his experience in language training in the Arab region.
