HUFS Seoul Campus Student Counseling Center received an Outstanding Counseling Center Award from the 2019 Korean Counseling Psychological Association General Assembly. In addition, the center received an Outstanding Counseling Center Award from the Counseling Council for University Students from its 2019 Winter Academic Conference.

The Korean Counseling Psychological Association has been awarding counseling centers that have contributed to the improvements in quality and culture of counseling every year since 2009.

The Counseling Council for University Students has 235 universities as its members and holds a winter academic conference annually. At the conference, awards are given in the categories of Activity, Counseling, Program, and Counselor. HUFS received an award in the Activity category for its high availability of the student counseling center. Universities which show an increase in psychological exams, analyses, group counseling, and individual counseling from the previous year receive awards in the Activity category.

The Seoul Campus Student Counseling Center plans to serve as a professional counseling center for the students at HUFS with outstanding efforts for the well-being in mental health.
