■ Global Campus’ Career Development Center hosts the '2021 HUFS Job Talk Concert

HUFS Career Development Center in the Global Campus (Director Oh Se-Hong) hosted the 2021 HUFS Job Talk Concert on October 28, 2021 (Thursday). The talk concert was held at the International Seminar Hall of the Centennial Complex, Global Campus, under the title of ‘COVID-19 Job Search Strategies’. The event was moderated by Director Oh Se-Hong of the HUFS Career Development Center and joined by recruiters from SK Innovation and Kakao Entertainment and career consultant Han Ji-Young as panelists, who shared changing recruiting trends in the Post-Covid-19 era and effective strategies for a successful job search.

Director Oh, the main host of the event, commented, “Two years or so have passed since the COVID-19 broke out in December 2019. Although a complete return to the pre-COVID era is not possible in 2022, I believe that year 2022 will be a year of new changes as the first ”With COVID“ year.” He went on to say, “At this juncture of new changes, it is truly meaningful to invite the recruiting officers of the leading global companies and share their job search tips with HUFS students.”

After the talk concert, HUFS student Han Chung-Hyun (English Literature and Culture, entry class of ‘21) said, “As I felt lost how to land my first job out of college, this lecture gave me how to effectively pursue my job search efforts. As adviced by the recruiting officers, I came to realize that I could get a better result if I am more relaxed, rather than being in a rush, and more frank, more confident in myself, more analytic about my strengths and weaknesses, more prepared to promote myself, and more digitally capable.”
