■ HUFS selected as a preferred bidder to run the University Job Plus Center Project

On April 4, 2022 (Monday), HUFS was selected as a preferred bidder to run the 2022 University Job Plus Center Project organized by the Ministry of Employment and Labor. Accordingly, HUFS will run the five-year project after annual performance evaluation. The project’s annual budget amounts to KRW 750 million, and its total five-year budget reaches KRW 3.6 billion.

With the aim of building a one-stop employment service delivery system through a single space and closely-linked functions for college career coaching and employment and startup support, the University Job Plus Center Project is run jointly by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, local governments, and universities to enhance universities’ employment and startup support capacity and help students enter the labor market. HUFS operated the University Job Center Project for five years from 2016 to 2020, and has been running the subsequent University Job Plus Center Project from last year. As HUFS has successfully moved on to the new project as a specialized hub university, it will nurture talents armed with tailored and career-focused practical skills in the areas of humanities and international studies, which are the particular strengths of HUFS.
