HUFS Law School (Dean Jeon Hak-Seon) was ranked 5th among 25 Korean law schools in the 11th national bar exam results announced by the Legal Profession Division of the Ministry of Justice on April 20, 2022 (Wednesday) (by the percentage of the 11th class students who passed the test). 

Out of 42 11th-class HUFS Law School students who applied for this year’s test, 35 passed, recording an 83.33% pass rate that ranked 5th in the nation. Seoul National University topped the ranking with a 93.13% pass rate, followed by Korea University (88.46%), Yonsei University (88.12%), Sogang University (85.71%), and HUFS (83.33%).  

The 11th-class students refer to those who enrolled in a law school in 2019 and have finished their 3-year course without a leave before taking the bar test. The pass rate of the 11th-class students applying for the test shows how many legal practitioners a law school produces after its three-year course. Seen as a clear gauge of each law school’s educational capacity, the pass rate proves the excellence of HUFS Law School’s law profession cultivation program.
