Along with HUFS International Model United Nations General Assembly (HIMUN), it is one of the nation’s largest mock UN conferences.

In the first session held under the theme “International Disputes and the UN’s Stronger Contribution,” HUFS students Yoon Seok-Jin (English Education, entry class of ’17) and Park Hyung-Bin (International Studies, entry class of ’18), who joined the event as the representatives of the Dominican Republic, won the Grand Prize given by the Minister of Foreign Affairs. These Grand Prize winners were also awarded the opportunity to join all conferences to be held in the UN Headquarters in New York and the UN Office in Geneva as observers. HUFS students Ahn Hyun (LD, entry class of ’17) and Kim Tae-Sun (LD, entry class of ’19) joined the conference as the representatives of China in the same session, winning the Outstanding Prize.
