HUFS AI Education Center (Director Kim Nak-Hyun) accomplished the feat of receiving the “exceptionally outstanding” mark again on the final assessment of the 2022 University Career Exploration Camp Program. It was ranked at the same level on the program’s mid-term assessment in October 2022. The 2022 University Career Exploration Camp Program is sponsored by the Ministry of Education and Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science & Creativity to address the regional divide in career exploration opportunities. Under the program, universities with well-established career programs offer quality career development opportunities to young students in underprivileged areas.

On the final assessment, HUFS AI Education Center was given the great assessment for ▲ developing and operating high-level SW & AI career exploration education programs by leveraging its voluntary SW college student volunteers, ▲creating a systematic standard curriculum for each program, ▲ expanding the existing career exploration programs for students with fewer career exploration opportunities, including those in alternative schools, and ▲ receiving good feedback from its beneficiaries. In addition, to help young students keep up with the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the center has introduced a customized career program on the theme of Promising New Future Jobs, offering five new career exploration programs in the areas of ▲ metaverse & VR/AR, ▲ AI, ▲ IoT ▲ smart farm, and ▲ game coding.
Established in 2019, HUFS AI Education Center operates various programs, including SW & AI Student Club Education, SW & AI Career Exploration Camp, Career Exploration Education for the Free Semester, and SW & AI Expert Cultivation Education. Through these experience-based programs, it aims to address the SW & AI education divide and grow the SW & AI practitioner base under the guidance of the SW Value Delivery Center.
