On February 22, 2023 (Wednesday), the HUFS Center for Critical Foreign Language Education (Director Lee Eun-Goo) held the 2022 ‘HUFS to the CFL World’ Winter Awards Ceremony. Held at the Lecture Hall of Faculty Office Building II, the awards ceremony honored some of the outstanding achievements of the 2022 Winter ‘HUFS to the CFL World’ Overseas Employment and Entrepreneurial Exploration. This program was carried out as part of the Ministry of Education’s Critical Foreign Language Education Promotion Initiative and was joined by a total of 65 students in 18 teams.

The 2022 program featured a competition for students majoring in the 16 critical foreign languages covered by the Initiative. These languages include Dutch, Lao, Malay-Indonesian, Mongolian, Swahili, Swedish, Uzbek, Italian, Kazakh, Thai, Turkish, Persian, Portuguese-Brazilian, Polish, Hungarian, and Hindi. The aim of the competition was for the participating students to explore employment and startup opportunities in their respective language-speaking region as a regional expert and spread the information they gathered.
