On February 2, 2023 (Thursday), the HUFS Law School (Dean Jeon Hak-Seoul) earned accreditation by the law school evaluation committee of the Korea Bar Association after its third law school assessment. The committee conducts the assessment every five years, and this third assessment covered the five-year period starting from the spring semester of 2017 to the fall semester of 2021.

The assessment was conducted in 2022 after the first and second assessments held in 2012 and 2017, respectively. The HUFS Law School passed all three initial assessments without any reassessment, showcasing its institutional excellence.

The third assessment was conducted on the nation’s 25 universities with law schools. Only nine of them passed the initial assessment, including three universities in Seoul. They are HUFS, Yonsei University, and Hanyang University.
