On February 27, 2023 (Monday), the HUFS Seoul Campus Library (Head Cho Hee-Mun) hosted a ceremony for the book donation by the Center for Language Strengthening and Empowerment of the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture and Indonesian Embassy in Korea. The donation includes books on Indonesian language learning.

Dr. Iwa Lukmana, Head of the Center for Language Strengthening and Empowerment of the Indonesian Ministry, and Gogot Suharwoto, the Education and Culture Attaché of the Indonesian Embassy in Seoul, as well as two other Embassy officers, visited the library for the ceremony. The event kicked off with welcoming remarks by Myeong Hyeong-Taek, Head of the HUFS Academic Research Information Team, followed by the exchange of the certificate of donation and commemorative plaques. After a tour of the library, the event concluded with a commemorative photo.

Dr. Iwa Lukmana said, “We hope that the 30 books we donated for Indonesian language education will prime the pump of interest in our nation among HUFS students and help them with their Indonesian language learning.”

The books will be available in the critical foreign language book section of the Seoul Campus Library.
